The Monroe traffic light at the staging area is operational as of Thursday, June 25.

I’ve been timing my rides home. I save about 3 minutes. I can get home sooner this way even though it’s 1.3 miles farther than the shorter route. On the whole, I eliminated 2 stop lights.

Took a ride on it myself today. It’s not going to help my commute much, but it’s going to help the alternate long version of my commute when I want to bike 9.8 miles instead of 5.8.

Was already discovered by the jogging and biking community.

Trail is open. I rode it this morning, Friday. Reach 4, which goes to Cabrillo Ave. along San Tomas Expwy is being built now. It will appeal to casual cyclists and school children.
